Educate Girls Foundation Day 2025

Educate Girls marked its 18th Foundation Day in Mumbai alongside learners, Team Balika volunteers, Preraks, donors, partners, supporters and members of the Educate Girls community.

Pragati learners who had previously dropped out of school shared their journeys and achievements, including many who had scored over 75% in their examinations. The celebration recognised the collective effort behind helping girls return to education, including the contributions of Team Balika volunteers, Preraks, communities, donors, partners and government stakeholders.

In the months that followed, Educate Girls held similar celebrations across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Joined by government representatives, partners, communities, Team Balika volunteers and Preraks, these events marked the organisation’s 18-year journey and celebrated learners who had successfully completed Grade 10. The gatherings recognised the determination of the girls and the collective effort that supported them on their education journey.

Together, these celebrations reflected the strength of a community-led movement working to ensure that no girl is left behind.
